Creativity. Collaboration. Community.

The Electric City Players is a community theatre arts collective based in Peterborough / Nogojiwanong. We seek to create ambitious, immersive, multi-media theatre experiences that tell stories that explore how our distant past can help us to see our present and—perhaps more urgently—our possible futures more sharply. We believe in fostering generative interdisciplinary collaboration between theatre practitioners, videographers, choreographers, musicians, artists, and educators. We believe in the value of building community through artistic creation.

Meet Our Team

The Electric City Players operates on a decentralized, collaborative model of theatrical creation and practice. Our core members and collaborators appear below, but you can also find a more detailed list of the individuals working together on any given show on our events page. Interested in joining us, either for a specific show or as part of the company in general? Reach out to us at electriccityplayers@gmail.com!
